Mahavatar Babaji Cave – The 2 Nights 3 Days tour to the Cave of Mahavatar Babaji from Delhi to Delhi is one of the most popular tours that we offer. This educational tour lasts for a total of three days, with two nights spent in accommodations located along the way. Those who are interested in spending some time getting up close and personal with Babaji Cave will always find this tour convenient because it allows for the perfect amount of time to do so. Many other tourists make this trip every year since Babaji Cave is one of the most spiritual places in all of Uttarakhand due to its remote location and peaceful atmosphere.
The legacy of the Mahavatar Babaji and his cave has become essential to those seeking spiritual fulfillment, physical abundance, and self-realization. With the Yagna performed by Sri Daya Mata in 1961, it became more central to devotees who rejoiced with her on this monumental occasion. But it really found its meaning just a few years later when it marked the 150th birthday of Mahavatar Babaji’s return- as Lahiri Mahasaya
The main feature of this trip is your visit to Babaji’s Cave. Located at an altitude of 2000 meters from sea level, it sits perched atop the moon-like rocks. The trekking duration is about 45 minutes and while this path may appear reasonably shorter in length, it can sometimes be quite treacherous and will require you to engage with a serious level of fitness and outdoor activity skillset as you negotiate your way up the hillside against very rugged terrain. Most of our famous tourists say that the first part of the way requires perhaps 15 – 20 minutes but it is worth getting there for the stunning panoramic views over the breathtaking landscape! Naturally, there are a number of points on this trail with great vistas dotted intermittently along the path.

Our representative will meet either at your above-specified hotel in New Delhi or right outside of the New Delhi Railway Station, depending on when exactly you’re arriving in the city during operating hours. He’ll make sure that when it’s time for you to board your train – 1204 bound for KGM – you’ll be able to do so with no worries about where it actually is. Once you arrive at Kathgodam railway station (KGM), someone from our team will meet up with you there and drive you over to the cave via Ranikhet and Dwarahat in Surface transport.
08:00 AM – You will take a road trip of 25 km from your guesthouse in the town Dwarahat to the Babaji Cave, arriving at the trailhead shortly after. The trail cuts through dense forest and climbs steadily up a small mountain; it’s beautiful but very rugged, so we ask you to be mindful of your footing as you walk along with it. 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM – At this point, you will be hiking up a mountain (there are steps along with some parts of the path), and you should get to the cave entrance by mid-day. On weekends this could take a while longer because there might be quite a few people hiking out at that time. 4:30 PM – After spending time meditating inside with the swami or other visitors if there are any, ideally we recommend returning down by 4:30 PM so we can drop you off back at your hotel before sunset around 6 or 7 PM.
Have early breakfast and check out and drive towards New Delhi, this day is a long drive about 400 km up to New Delhi, on the way lunch and stop off for tea and enjoy nature & scenic road trip, upon arrival at New Delhi Tour ends.
