Litchi Vedi a Sacred Tree in the Ranchi Ashram

  • After you have visited the main shrine and meditated a little, head over to one of the most sacred places in the Ranchi Ashram– Litchi Vedi. The Litchi Vedi is essentially a sacred tree located in the complex.
  • Paramahansa Yoganandaji used to teach his disciples under a lovely shady Litchi tree. The tree provided the perfect canopy for his outside classes, and some of the most religious, spiritual, and intellectual discussions ned to take place under that tree.
  • In current times the tree has been commemorated and a diving photo of Paramahansa Yoganandaji has also been installed beside it. It is also one of the most favored places among the YSS members to practice their meditation.
