Day 1 Rishikesh to Dwarahat Town
A warm and happy breakfast sets you off in the morning as you bid farewell to this wonderful city of Rishikesh. The distance between Rishikesh and Dwarahat is close to 280 km, so it takes anywhere from 8 to 10 hours by road depending on time you spend on the way making pit stops at Vashishta cave, Devprayag Sangam, Adi Badri Group of temples.
Throughout your drive, you will have many chance to stop-off to stretch out your experience because Mahavatar Babaji cave is said to have immense peace. Not just saints, people visit this cave for its peace giving aura. One doesn’t actually need to be religious or spiritual to visit Babaji cave. After reaching your overnight place, have dinner and light off.
Day 2 Dwarahat to Babaji Cave: 25 km
Morning have nice breakfast and drive uphill to the last village which near Babaji cave, and get ready to climb up to see Mahavatar Babaji cave. it is just 2 or 2.5 km path to go the cave. It takes around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depends upon your physical strength and movement. Later, you’ll be able to take your time in handling other things. You’ll take downhill trek to catch the your driver which will connect you back to your Hotel in Dwarahat. If there is some time remaining, you can to pay a visit to the famous Dunagiri Mata temple located on the way while getting back to Dwarahat town before dinner & lights off!
Day3
Today will be a light-hearted day, one to relax and unwind in the peaceful quietness of the Himalayas. So saddle up and get ready for a leisurely road trip. Today is a very laid-back road trip. You ’ll try to do as much as possible and just enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings, temples on the way back to Rishikesh.
After gearing up, you will drive back to Rishikesh, on the way we’ll get an afternoon bite at ‘yoga break’. Later on, on the way tea stop off and temple sightseeing etc. This trip will mark as end once you touch Rishikesh town.
